Experience
José worked as Principal Consultant for CA, Inc. for 7 years. He Provided strategic technical pre-sales leadership and support for the Unicenter product suite, primarily in the areas of Application, Systems, and Network Availability, Performance and Fault management.
During his time in CA he lead the pre-sales and initial implementation effort of two of the three largest deals the company has ever achieved (Concord Communications). Both are very demanding, large telecommunications companies and both deals where multi million dollars worth.
As part of his developement he worked as a Software Engineer for Concord Communications for 3 years. His responsabilities were in the development, maintenance, and testing of network systems, and applications management software used by enterprise, telecommunications, and service provider customers.
During his time in Concord he reduced the amount of time required to support the integration of Concord’s product to new versions of Element Management Systems from 180 days to 90 days by improving code design, and externalizing variable and configuration definitions (integrations with Cisco Wan Manager, Alcatel 5620, and Lucent Navis Core / Navis Xtend).
